blueballoon is not only an active member of the four communities where we provide services, we are also engaged with communities around the world. Whether it’s facilitating clinical visits at one of our Ontario sites for children from other countries or reaching out to children in need abroad, blueballoon is dedicated to providing the best therapeutic services. Staring in May 2009, blueballoon began treating families on the ground in Trinidad after noticing an increased demand of clients willing to travel to Toronto for various forms of therapy and treatment. Four times each year, blueballoon dispatches an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals to Trinidad to treat and assess children experiencing various developmental and physical challenges. Therapies involved include Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech-Language Pathology and Music Therapy. In addition to treating and assessing children, the blueballoon team has also organized pro-bono workshops for the Holistic School in Cascade, Trinidad. We are eager to build strategic alliances with like-minded community, health care and philanthropic organizations.
